इस अरबी गाने को बनाने वाले बैंड ने  कुवैत के प्रिन्स के सहयोग से प्रीतम की इस चोरी पर आपत्ति उठायी और आखिरकार प्रीतम ने इस गाने में मूल स्त्रोत का उल्लेख करना शुरू किया,  तब जा कर मामला थोडा शांत हुआ ! उल्लेखनीय है कि इस फिल्म 'गेंगस्टर' में 5 में से 3 गानों की धुन चोरी या कहो विदेशी गीतों से प्रेरित  है !
